Inspired by the wisdom and awesome power of nature and holistic thinking, this practice involves immersive, outdoor retreats where employees, supported by facilitators, engage in deep listening, mindfulness, and power building exercises taddress organizational challenges, foster creativity, and cultivate shared value.
Process:
The Retreat Setting:
Choose natural environments (forests, beaches, parks, gardens, the ocean) for day-long or multi-day retreats.
Integrate grounding practices like guided mindfulness walks, silent nature observation, group meditations, and “finding your life force (qi), focused on themes of trust, clarity, foresight, and employee empowerment.
Wisdom Source and Power Guide
Participants are invited to select their own special Wisdom Source or Power Guide in Nature whose advice via Kokoro is integrated within the Retreat and as a continuing source of wise counsel and guidance.
Instruction on how to dialogue with Wisdom Source and Power Guide
Wisdom Circle Discussions:
Break into small, facilitated groups to reflect on organizational challenges or future scenarios. Use prompts like:
“What wisdom does nature offer us about resilience and adaptability?”
“What patterns in our organization mirror natural systems, and how can we harness them for shared value?”
Foresight and Collaborative Innovation:
Teams brainstorm creative solutions to current challenges or future goals, inspired by natural metaphors (e.g., “regenerative ecosystems,” “resilient forests”).
The retreat concludes with shared reflections and a clear, actionable vision for the upcoming quarter.
